Outreach Worker x2 (hours 37 hours)

We have an exciting opportunity to work for our organisation in partnership with Milton Keynes Council (MKC) providing a high quality service as an outreach work to support those who experience Domestic Abuse (DA) and living in temporary accommodation.  Part of your work is to empower our clients, keeping the safety of them and their children central to their interventions, assessing their needs and putting the right support in place. We are looking for individuals who is committed to working in a flexible and responsive way to meet the needs of our clients in the community.  You will be joining our caring, strong and hardworking team.

This post is a fixed term for 1 year will the possibility of it being extended dependent on funding.

Salary scale: £ 24,512.00

Hours:  37 hours per week 

Work Pattern: Office hours Monday – Friday

You will be based at within MK-Act Community Offices in MK, but you will be working in close contact with all MK-Act teams and Milton Keynes Council.

As an Outreach Worker you will have an in-depth working knowledge of DA and experience of working with victims of DA.  Our ideal candidate will have experience of working with individuals in the community with a variety of needs.  You will be able to work on your own initiative but also seeking support from the team when required.
