We are seeking individuals who are committed to preventing domestic violence and abuse to join our Fresh Start team. Fresh Start provides group work and one to one interventions for people using abusive behaviour within their intimate relationships, which run alongside a safety and support service for partners.
We are currently recruiting both male and female sessional staff to deliver the group work and 1-2-1 programme in Milton Keynes, which aims to help individuals end their violent and abusive behaviour. Evening work will generally be required with candidates working a minimum of 3/4 hours per week, with a flexible / negotiable work pattern. Rates of pay will be in accordance with experience.

Our ideal candidate will need to have an understanding of domestic violence and how it affects men, women and childrenand previous experience of some type of behavioural change work. They may well have experience of providing one to one support,group work or counselling and advice to service users in some capacity and be willing to learn new techniques and develop their skills within this field. Training will be provided and candidates will be required to attend specific training days as requested. We are prepared to consider candidates with a wide range of experience to attract the right, committed individuals.
